A Retaining Wall Surrounding a Backyard Pool

This backyard in Grovetown is summer-ready. We installed a retaining wall with a curved edge in Harvest Blend that runs the width of the yard. The wall helps define the pool and outdoor living spaces, while helping prohibit undesired erosion.

A well-built retaining wall can offer both practical benefits and aesthetic appeal, whether as a single project or part of a larger landscaping plan. Contact us today to make your landscaping vision a reality.

Raised Plant Beds with Retaining Walls

For this landscape project in Martinez, we planned and built retaining walls with Penta ledge stone to protect the landscape from erosion while adding the visual appeal of raised plant beds. We used a variety of plants suited to the Augusta climate and finished them off with fresh brown mulch.

The landscaping design’s foliage included Limelight Hydrangea, Japanese Anise, Nellie Stevens, Miscanthus Adagio, Cleyera Japonica, Lily of the Nile (blue), Camelia Sasanqua (pink), Podocarpus Pringles, Secretia Purple Heart, Fragrant Tea Olive, Canna Lily Mix, and some annuals (Lorapedulum Purple Diamond and Sedum Veriagated).

Pool Deck and Landscaping Create Backyard Oasis

Upkeep of a backyard pool is more than just caring for the pH of the water. Most homeowners consider their residential landscaping a part of the pool upkeep plan. For these North Augusta residents, our team created an oasis by not only installing a concrete patio and matching pavers, tailored to their yard, but also decorated the edges of the pool with azaleas, nandinas, camellias, and three tea olives. Finishing touches included some black mulch in the plant beds.

The result is a tranquil space the homeowners can enjoy year round, even while the pool is covered. Would you like a beautiful and sustainable residential landscaping plan for your backyard? Contact us to begin our design process!
